Sin CIty

I made this blog to share my Europe pictures but I went to Las Vegas for the first time this past weekend and took tons of pictures. Some turned out really well and I thought why not post them. About Vegas, I loved it and want to go back! Obviously I don't want to live there or anything but I definitely want to vacation there, especially when i am of age. The city is so colorful and vibrant and never sleeps. It is a small strip of street that has mother of all mother hotels (i.e. Caeser's Palace was 9 buildings I think! That is the size of a university, if not bigger than some). Each hotel had its own unique theme. I had the privilege of staying in a suite in the Venetian, Little Italy basically. The 'Venice canals' were at my footstep. Casinos, 9 swimming pools, restaurants, clubs, and anything else necessary made up the bottom floors of the hotel which soared quite high with amazing-well made rooms.

Did I mention how I got the hook ups? No, so I shall. One of my friends interned on the Wheel of Fortune and they gave him his own suite for a week and half while they filmed the show. Did you know that show made that much money because I was unaware of that. I thank them because they treated us well and I appreciate that.

There were four of us in the suite and it worked out well. We tanned and swam during the day/napped because the sun drained us. We are talking about triple digits, 115 F and what not. When it cooled off maybe 10 or 15 degrees we went out and explored the city and saw what it had to offer. It definitely proved itself to me. I played a slot here and there, yes I did it illegally but it's not like I won anything. We saw Blue Man Group and goddamn they blew my mind! I didn't know what to expect when I bought the tickets but I when I walked out of the theater I was so satisfied with my purchase. It was between that or Beatles Love but so happy I chose this. I can't even put into words how I feel about that show! So much happened and it went by so fast but I was constantly laughing, smiling, clapping, or so happy throughout the show. I will see them again!

Overall I am really happy I got to experience Vegas. Now on to the pictures...

Pre-departure

Anglo-American University (First English-Czech speaking
private University in Prague)

Hey guys! So I gave in and made a blog and to be honest I have no idea how to work it really.
I am a noob when it comes to this.
Well this is my first post.
I made this blog to share my adventures with all of you back home.
It is going to be mostly just a picture blog and a synopsis of my travels.
I leave for Europe in 5 weeks, August 14th at 4 pm.
I am counting down days and to the last minutes basically.
I am going to Europe two weeks before my program in Prague actually starts,
so my mom thought it would be a good idea to tag along and go on the adventure with me.
We are going to London for 5 days, then hitting Paris for 5 days
before we head to Prague to drop me off for 4 months.
I am studying abroad at the Anglo-American University
in the heart of the city (yes I have google earth-ed the area!).
Time is flying by and my European adventure will begin.
I hope you enjoy the blog and I will try my best to keep it updated.
Give me feedback on how to make the blog more enjoyable
and requests on what to post.
I will leave you with a few pictures.
Enjoy!
